Catch up: February 2020
Welcome to GRIN’s second monthly round up. A space for us to share some recent creativity, how we support our lovely clients, studio socials and the latest events and activities.
With January out of the way and 2020 in full swing, we’ve hit the ground running here at GRIN with another busy month. We’ve been working on lots of new creative for existing clients, as well as plenty of new projects we can’t wait to show you in the future. Also, not only have we been busy writing articles on our Medium page, but our very own Gareth and Emma even made an appearance at a recent one-day conference in Brum.
RLSS UK – First Aid Course
We now have two fully qualified IQL level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work staff members! It was a brilliant chance to head over to the RLSS UK headquarters and not only learn valuable skills but also see our creative in use around the meeting rooms and offices. Highly recommend the course – head over to the website to learn more.
BCU – 2021 Digital Futures
GRIN Strategy Director Gareth and Senior Account Manager Emma, were invited to be part of the panel at the Birmingham City University event, ‘Forward 2021 – Digital Futures’ on the 6th Feb. An amazing event that invited speakers from numerous Birmingham based agencies to discuss the impact of digital marketing, sharing insights and debating key points alongside under and post grad students. As well as hearing fascinating content from McDonald’s social media guru and Creative Director from BBC Creative.
We love getting out and meeting our clients and February has been a great month for this. With weekly meetings all over the UK and also a quick trip to Amsterdam to run through a number of new projects with the Hilton team. Taking the clients through processes and looking at different creative and strategic options, was a great way to demonstrate exactly what we do here at GRIN. Also getting to know a different branch of this fantastic brand was an added bonus!
HSBC – The Power of AI
HSBC have partnered with IBM Watson to create AiPEX, an artificially intelligent index to aid investors who are seeking to grow their wealth by investing in equities. It reacts daily to changing market conditions and reduces the impact of short-term volatility in the equity markets.
We produced a multi-faceted video for the NYC team that takes the viewer through the product, what it does and how it will ultimately benefit the end user. Alongside the video, we created an information brochure and set of bespoke images, that are used throughout the HSBC section.
